Visit Volume 1 of Remembering the American Revolution @250, an H-Net Journal, to read “Accommodated in the Gallery: Unfreedom in the Early History of Boston’s Old North Church” by Jaimie Crumley, Catherine Matthews, and Emily Spence, as well as an updated editorial by lead editor Abby Chandler.  Essays will be published on a rolling basis; stay tuned for a companion piece, by the same authors, on historical interpretation at Old North Church and for a forthcoming essay by Patrick O’Brien on the historiography of Loyalism.
