Newsletter #12

Dear all,

Here is the November newsletter of the AMERICA2026 program:

Freedom across the Atlantic? AMERICA2026 held a roundtable during Omohundro Institute’s « For 2026 » conference on Contested Freedoms. Annika Bärwald (Uni Bremen), Mathieu Ferradou (Université Paris Nanterre), Megan Maruschke (Uni Leipzig) and Christine Mertens (Roosevelt Institute) spoke about mobilities, subjugation and freedom in the Atlantic world during the age of revolutions (the panel was moderated by Virginie Adane – Nantes Université). Thank you to them and thank you to the organizers at OIEAHC for a great opportunity for transcontinental conversation!
