The Davida Tenenbaum Deutsch Program in Women’s History at the Library Company of Philadelphia invites applications for 2026–27 fellowships. Since 2013, the Program has awarded fellowships for research on women’s history supported by the collections; this has included projects that range from studies of specific women to those that examine the intersections of gender with other systems of power. We are pleased to support research in women’s history with both short-term and dissertation fellowship awards.
Fellowships support on-site research in the collections of the Library Company on any aspect of women’s history (broadly defined) documented in the Library Company’s collections.
