Newsletter #9

Dear all,

We are happy to send you our ninth newsletter of the America2026 program–and last one
before the Summer break.

Event of the month:
AMERICA 2026 was at the University of Turin May 25-26 for two extremely rich sets of stimulating papers on the impact of the American Revolution on Italian, French and German political and historical thought in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. We wish to thank our Italian colleagues, and our host at the University of Turin, Manuela Albertone, for their engagement with our programme, their impressive multilingualism, and their warm and generous welcome.

Publications:
Michel Catala, Stanislas Jeannesson, Eric Schnakenbourg (ed.), Les Européens et la mondialisation du XVe siècle à nos jours, Rennes, Presses Universitaires de Rennes
