The ANR-funded conference American Politics and the Memory of the Revolution (18th-21st Centuries) was held on November 12–13, 2024, at the University of Toulouse – Jean Jaurès. This event, part of the AMERICA 2026 series, explored various commemorations and representations of the American Revolution, including the upcoming 250th anniversary. The conference featured keynote presentations by Philip Mead and Patrick Griffin, as well as panels focused on historiography, public history, and cultural memory. Among the speakers were scholars such as Nathalie Dessens, Bertrand Van Ruymbeke, Emmanuelle Perez-Tisserand, Guilhem de Mauraige, Bénédicte Quilliec, Ghislain Potriquet, Françoise Coste, Mathilde Monge, Nadine Zimmerli, Bayard Miller, Benjamin Bernard, Florence Petroff, Jim Ambuske, Ian Ruskin, Magali Aigoin, Agnès Delahaye, Emma Hart, Wim Klooster, Susanne Lachenicht, Marialuisa Innocenzi, James Taub, Frank Cogliano, Iris de Rode, and Vincent Bouat-Ferlier.
